Purpose:
To encourage investment in Israel via Israeli Bonds

Current and Recent Activity:

Emergency Bond Drive: Tuesday evening, May 21 at 8:00 pm at YIJE.

Participants: Adults & Youth Department

Guest Speaker: Jonathan Schienberg, Press Officer for Jewish Media And Magazines at the Consulate General of Israel in New York.  Mr. Schienberg is part of a communication team that serves as liaison to the media in the tri-state area and will present an update on the current situation in Israel.

Bond Representative: Jeffrey Goldfarb.  Will be available from 6-9pm for investments, reinvestments and questions.

Local Shuls Joining: Congregation Bais Yitzchok D’Turka (Shtibl), Chabad (Rabbi Zalmanov – 211^th Street & Union Turnpike), and Anshai Shalom.

Youth Coordination: Separate Chai Bond invitations extended to the youth, through the Sara Domb Youth Department.

Dessert Reception: Fruit & Pastry platters, soda, coffee, tea, water.
